COLOCATION SERVICES INFORMATION & FAQ
======================================================================

Last Updated: October 30, 2026

SUMMARY:
42U Networks L.L.C. ("42U Networks") provides flexible, enterprise colocation
solutions ranging from single-server (per-U) rack placements to half-rack and
full-rack multi-cabinet deployments.

As we actively work on deploying dedicated, customer-accessible 42U Networks
cages, all colocation deployments currently operate through our vetted,
world-class third-party datacenter partners across multiple geographical
regions.

This document outlines how our partner colocation model operates, onboarding
procedures, access parameters, remote hands, pass-through pricing, our active
datacenter locations, and shipping protocols.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. WHAT IS COLOCATION & HOW DOES OUR MODEL WORK?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Colocation allows you to house your own physical server and network hardware
in a secure, redundant, enterprise-grade datacenter environment while
leveraging our multi-homed network transit, diverse fiber cross-connects, and
redundant power infrastructure.

PARTNER-DRIVEN INFRASTRUCTURE:
To offer a diverse geographical footprint with different facility capabilities,
42U Networks partners with leading tier-rated datacenter operators in multiple
metro markets.
- Location-Specific Advantages: Each partner facility provides distinct
advantages, power density options, network peering fabrics, cross-connect
ecosystems, and security standards.
- Future Cage Roadmap: We are actively developing proprietary 42U Networks
customer cages. Until dedicated private cages are finalized in each market,
all colocation space is provisioned through our authorized partner suites.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
2. CURRENT LOCATIONS & AVAILABILITY
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Through our partner providers, we currently offer colocation space across
the following metro markets and facility hubs:

- Detroit, MI
- Grand Rapids, MI
- Albany, NY
- Chicago, IL
- Colorado Springs, CO
- Dallas, TX
- Los Angeles, CA
- Philadelphia, PA
- Tampa, FL
- Ottoville, OH

AVAILABILITY NOTICE:
Because space, power density, and rack availability fluctuate dynamically
across partner facilities, immediate capacity may not be fully available in
every listed market at all times. Specific floor space, breaker allocations,
and per-U slots are confirmed during the initial inquiry and order review.

CUSTOM LOCATIONS:
Need a facility outside our standard footprint? If you have specific regional
or latency requirements, custom datacenter locations and facility builds can
be arranged through our provider network wherever commercially feasible.
Open a ticket with our team to discuss custom regional deployments.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
3. 100% TRANSPARENT PASS-THROUGH PRICING
----------------------------------------------------------------------

AT 42U NETWORKS, YOU PAY THE EXACT SAME FEES AND COSTS WE PAY.

We operate our partner colocation on a transparent, at-cost pass-through
structure:
- Zero Hidden Retail Markups: The monthly rates, space fees, power circuits
(kW/Amps), cross-connect charges, and facility access surcharges you pay
match the direct costs billed to us by the facility provider.
- Location-Based Differences: Because each partner facility maintains its own
rate card and utility costs, pricing varies depending on the specific
facility, region, and density chosen.
- Upfront Quotation: Before racking or dispatching any hardware, our team
provides a transparent breakdown of the exact facility costs for your
desired footprint.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
4. ONBOARDING WORKFLOW & 24-72 HOUR DISCOVERY
----------------------------------------------------------------------

HOW TO GET STARTED:
1. Place Your Order: Submit your initial colocation order through our client
portal or request a custom quote.
2. 24 to 72-Hour Outreach: Within twenty-four to seventy-two (24-72) hours of
placing your order, a dedicated 42U Networks support agent and deployment
specialist will personally reach out to you via ticket and email.
3. Information Gathering: Your deployment agent will collect all necessary
technical specifications, including:
- Server chassis dimensions (1U, 2U, 4U, or full rack layout);
- Rail kits, shelf requirements, and cabling preferences;
- Power consumption estimates, PSU configurations, and plug types (e.g.,
C13/C14, NEMA 5-15, L6-20);
- Network connectivity, IP allocation needs, and BGP session details;
- Security badge/visitor registration details.
4. Logistics & Access Setup: We will provide you with the exact shipping
address, carrier receiving instructions, facility security registration,
and datacenter site rules. If agreed upon with our datacenter partner, we
can also furnish direct contact details for our designated facility account
manager.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
5. WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR SERVICE?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

- Rack Space: Secure mounting within modern, temperature-regulated cabinets.
- Redundant Power: A/B dual-feed utility circuits are available for half-rack,
full-rack, and select single-server deployments.
- Network Connectivity & BGP: High-capacity transit connectivity across our
multi-carrier network backbone. BGP peering sessions and custom routing
announcements (BYOIP) are provided at no extra charge.
- Out-of-Band (OOB) IPMI Access:
* Single-server colocation includes secure OOB management connectivity
delivered via encrypted WireGuard VPN tunnels.
* Half-rack and full-rack deployments may request dedicated, isolated OOB
uplink drops.
- Bandwidth Monitoring: Real-time traffic, port utilization, and 95th
percentile bandwidth telemetry via the client dashboard.
- Remote Power Control: Remote PDU port rebooting is integrated via our
portal for single-server colocation; multi-rack and full-cabinet clients
utilize their own managed switched PDUs or partner PDU outlets.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
6. DATACENTER ACCESS POLICIES
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Physical access to the facility is strictly dependent on the underlying
datacenter provider's security credentials and the footprint licensed:

- Full-Rack & Half-Rack Deployments:
Most facility providers grant autonomous 24/7/365 biometric or badge access
for customers leasing a half cabinet or full cabinet. We will coordinate
directly with the facility to register your authorized personnel, verify
government IDs, and issue access credentials.
- Single-Server & Quarter-Rack Deployments:
Because individual servers are housed in shared, locked cabinets, unescorted
walk-in access is generally restricted by facility security regulations.
Escorted site visits can be arranged by opening a ticket at least one (1)
week in advance, subject to provider approval and staffing availability.
- Provider Coordination:
We advocate on your behalf with our facility partners to maximize your physical
access rights wherever possible within the provider's operating guidelines.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
7. REMOTE HANDS (SMART HANDS)
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Remote hands services are available across all partner facilities for tasks
requiring on-site physical interaction (cable patching, component swaps, drive
replacements, visual diagnosis, and hardware resets).

- Included vs. Billable Hands:
Remote hands response times and included allowances differ from provider to
provider. Basic tasks (such as a hard power reset or verifying external link
LEDs) are often handled expeditiously at no charge. Complex physical tasks
(such as installing internal components, custom cabling, or OS console
troubleshooting) are subject to facility Smart Hands rates.
- Response Times:
Manned hours vary by site and provider (e.g., select regional facilities
maintain 24/7/365 on-site technician shifts, while others operate during
standard business hours with on-call emergency rotations).
- Advance Scheduling:
Non-emergency physical hardware maintenance should be scheduled at least
twenty-four to forty-eight (24-48) hours in advance whenever feasible.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
8. FEES AND BILLING OVERVIEW
----------------------------------------------------------------------

- Pass-Through Colocation Rates: Monthly space, power, and bandwidth charges
match our exact provider costs.
- Setup Fees: Setup charges (if assessed by the facility for cross-connects,
power circuit drops, or rack preparation) will be presented transparently
at checkout or in your custom quote.
- Cross-Connects: Fiber and copper cross-connects are billed at standard
facility pass-through rates (typically single-mode fiber LR 1310 nm LC SMF
or Cat6 copper drops).
- Return Packaging Deposit: If you request return shipping upon service
cancellation and do not supply your original packaging materials, a $200
deposit is required to cover packing materials, protective foam, and secure
handling. Any remaining balance will be refunded minus material costs and
payment processing fees.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
9. SHIPPING, RECEIVING, AND HARDWARE RACKING
----------------------------------------------------------------------

DO NOT SHIP HARDWARE WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION.

1. Shipping Clearance: Always open a support ticket before dispatching hardware.
We will issue a formal Delivery Authorization, verify carrier receiving
hours, and provide the exact shipping label format (including dock loading
instructions, suite numbers, and tracking tags).
2. Packaging & Rails: Ensure all shipments include appropriate OEM rack rails,
power cables, and secure chassis padding. Retain your original boxes for
future return transport.
3. Racking: Depending on the location and chosen package, you may schedule an
on-site visit to rack your hardware personally, or authorize the facility's
on-site technician team to rack and cable the unit on your behalf.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
10. HARDWARE INSURANCE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Neither 42U Networks nor its third-party datacenter partners provide cargo,
theft, casualty, or property insurance for customer-owned hardware.

- Customer Insurance Obligation: Customers are strongly required to maintain
their own comprehensive business property, transit, and inland marine
insurance coverage for any server, network switch, or hardware placed in
a colocation facility.
- Verification: Consult your insurance underwriter to verify policy coverage
for assets stored at commercial third-party datacenters.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
11. SERVICE TERMINATION & EQUIPMENT RETRIEVAL
----------------------------------------------------------------------

- Graceful Decommissioning: Upon service cancellation or contract expiration,
you must schedule a physical de-rack visit or arrange prepaid return shipping
labels within fourteen (14) days.
- Abandoned Hardware: If equipment remains unclaimed, un-retrieved, or without
active billing arrangements for sixty (60) days following account default or
service expiration, the hardware will be deemed legally abandoned.
Ownership will transfer to 42U Networks, and we reserve the right to
recycle, decommission, or liquidate the abandoned assets to recover accrued
storage and handling fees.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
